These Terms govern your use of the PM Local Market website, WhatsApp service and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. About the Service
PM Local Market is a technology platform that connects local shopkeepers and customers. We provide the software and messaging tools; we do not own, stock or sell the products listed by shops.
2. No government affiliation
PM Local Market is a privately owned business. “PM” stands for Prem Malhotra. We have no connection with any government body, government scheme, or the Prime Minister of India. Nobody may describe the Service as a government scheme or service.
3. Using the Service
- You must provide correct information and keep your account details up to date.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your OTPs private.
- You must not misuse the Service, attempt to break its security, send spam, or post illegal, false or misleading content.
4. Shopkeepers
- Shopkeepers are solely responsible for their products, prices, quality, quantity, bills, taxes (such as GST), licences (such as FSSAI where required), delivery, returns and refunds.
- Registration fees, subscription charges and any free trial are shown at the time of registration and may change with notice.
- We may suspend or remove shops that provide false information or break these Terms.
5. Customers
Orders are placed with the shop, and the sale is between you and the shop. Please check product details and prices with the shop before you pay. Any dispute about goods, delivery or refunds is between you and the shop, and we will help to resolve it where we reasonably can.
6. Agents and delivery partners
Agents and delivery partners work independently. They are not our employees and do not receive a fixed salary. Agent commission is paid only as set out in the Agent terms accepted at sign-up. Agents must not make false promises, claim the Service is a government scheme, collect money on behalf of a shop, or misuse customer or shop data.
7. Payments
Payments are made through UPI or other methods shown in the Service. Please check the payee details carefully before paying. We are not responsible for payments sent to a wrong UPI ID or account by mistake.
8. Intellectual property
The PM Local Market name, logo, software, design and content belong to PM Local Market. You may not copy, reuse or register them without our written permission.
9. Privacy
Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer and limit of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from transactions between customers and shops, or caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Suspension and ending
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The latest version will be on this page with its update date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bahadurgarh / Jhajjar, Haryana, will have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
